ULAA Council Of Eminent Persons

www.ucep-inc.org is the official website of the ULAA Council of Eminent Persons, Inc. The organization was officially launched on Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Collingswood, a Borough in Camden County, New Jersey. UCEP is commitment to furthering the principles and objectives, and honoring its history, which is to provide services to the Liberian community in the Diaspora and at home. In addition, UCEP shall continue its advocacy tradition of addressing issues and concern regarding our people and country.

The organizers consist of former ULAA Presidents and Board Chairmen – they are:

Eminent Persons (EPs) in attendance were: EP Mydea Reeves-Karpeh, Chairperson, EP Siahyonkron Nyanseor, Vice Chairperson/Interim Secretary, EP Bai M. Gbala, EP Jucontee T. Woewiyu, EP Arthur K. Watson, Sr., EP Dr. Jesse M. Cooper, Treasurer, and EP Emmanuel S. Wettee.

Since March 2008, the UCEP has operated as a group of elders - informally, eschewing the formality and legality in order to simply enable former Chairmen of the Board and former Presidents of ULAA to share their knowledge and lend a helping hand when called upon. However, the organization was incorporated in 2008 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA in order to have the basic framework for fulfilling our original promise of operating as an advisory group to ULAA and related Liberian organizations in the Diaspora.

This website is one of the mediums through which the UCEP shall interact with the public by way of proving information about our community, Liberia and the world. We may be contacted at: ucepincwebmanagers@gmail.com
